No snooze · only prayer
Wake up for Fajr.
Every single day.
An alarm built for one job: getting you up for the Fajr prayer. It rings through silent mode and won't turn off until you complete a short wake task, solve problems, photograph a verse in your mushaf, or recite an ayah aloud.
Try it right now
Think you'd just turn it off?
This is the easiest task in the app. Sound the alarm and see what dismissing it takes.
How it works
It rings, relentlessly
At Fajr the alarm breaks through silent mode, Focus and Do Not Disturb. Stop it and it comes right back within seconds.
Complete a wake task
The only way to silence it is to prove you're awake, a task chosen to get you out of bed and into the day.
Start your day in prayer
You're up, alert, and ready for salah, not back under the covers with a snoozed alarm.
Prove you're awake
Three ways to turn it off
Other alarms make you do busywork. Fajr Up is the only alarm whose wake tasks put the Quran in your hands before your feet find the floor.
Photograph a verse
Fajr Up names a verse; you find and photograph it in your physical mushaf. AI vision confirms it's really that verse, you're out of bed, lights on, Quran open.
Recite an ayah
The app shows an ayah, recite it aloud and AI confirms your recitation before the alarm stops. Wake up with the words of Allah, not a snooze button.
Solve problems
A few quick problems, add, subtract, multiply. Simple, but enough to make sure you're truly awake. You pick the difficulty.
Istiqamah, made visible
Built for consistency, not one good morning
Every wake is logged honestly, completed, struggled, or missed. Your Fajr streak grows morning by morning, and the record keeps you accountable on the mornings motivation doesn't.
Questions, answered
Does it really ring through silent mode?+
Yes. Fajr Up is built on Apple's AlarmKit, the same system framework the built-in Clock alarm uses, so it rings through Silent mode and Focus. It requires iOS 26 or later.
What if I just force-quit the app?+
A determined sleeper can always force-quit, no app can lock your phone. Fajr Up is built on accountability instead: your streak and wake log record every morning honestly, and the alarm returns within seconds if you simply stop it.
What happens to my photos and recordings?+
They're sent to our validation service only to confirm you completed the task, then discarded. They're never stored, shared, or used to train models. See the privacy policy for details.
Which wake task should I start with?+
Most people start with math and move to the verse photo or recitation once the habit forms. You choose the task and difficulty in settings, the point is that dismissing the alarm always costs more than staying in bed saves.
How much does it cost?+
The math wake task is free forever. The AI-verified Quran tasks (photo and recitation) are part of Fajr Up Pro, a subscription with a free trial, cancel anytime from your App Store account.
